Darling leaves a controlling engagement

The story begins with Darling recognising that her engagement, once presented as a promise of security, has become controlling. Rather than treating escape as the end of the story, Love Looks Good on You follows the new uncertainty that comes with trying to trust someone again. She crosses paths with Uzor, whose own private history complicates the relationship that develops.

The film's central appeal is its distinction between outward appearances and emotional safety. The available release synopsis establishes Darling's decision to leave and her subsequent connection with Uzor; it does not justify promising a specific ending or adding scenes that have not been checked. The principal credited performers include Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, Michael Dappa and Fadekemi Olumide.
