Qualification requirements

  • The official portal states a minimum of 7 credits including English and Mathematics for Airmen/Airwomen recruitment.
  • Trade applicants additionally require the relevant Trade Test Certificate or ND/NCE qualification.
  • The portal describes BMTC as suitable for holders of Secondary School Certificate, National Diploma, NABTEB, RN/RM/NCE, City & Guild or Trade Test qualifications, depending on category.

Other requirements

  • Non-Tradesmen/Women: official portal states an age range of 18–22 years.
  • Tradesmen/Women: official portal states an age range of 18–25 years.
  • Minimum height published by the NAF portal is 1.63 m for female applicants and 1.66 m for male applicants.
