Oscar and Bukola's childhood promise

In the Royal Arts TV version of Forever Yours, Bukola and Oscar promise as children that they will marry. Fifteen years pass, and Bukola still remembers the promise even though their lives have taken different paths. Their reunion is complicated by a central problem: Oscar is now engaged to another woman.

The 2025 film explores how a promise made before adulthood can become difficult to honour once people have developed separate responsibilities and relationships. Its central romantic conflict is not simply whether Oscar remembers Bukola, but whether either person can fairly ask the other to undo a present commitment for a bond from long ago.

Daniel Etim Effiong and Ekama Etim-Inyang are the two credited leads. The official video and Nollywire list the actors but do not reliably establish their corresponding character names, so the character table is intentionally left blank rather than guessing who plays Oscar or Bukola.

Official Royal Arts TV release and the similarly titled 2026 film

Royal Arts TV published its authorised full-length YouTube version on 20 November 2025. The film is directed by Ndifreke Mathew and catalogued as a Nigerian romantic drama. The publisher's own description explains the childhood promise and the reunion that challenges Oscar's existing engagement.

Readers should not confuse this entry with the 2026 ChinneyLoveEze TV film called Forever Yours. The newer film features Daniel Etim Effiong opposite Toni Tones and tells the very different story of Justin and Ruby facing a petroleum-business investigation. Sharing a title and one cast member does not make them two editions of the same production.
