Direct answers checked against official agency guidance, with links to the exact MyNigeriaGuide process when you need the full steps.

Do I lose my Retirement Savings Account when I change jobs?

No. PenCom states that the RSA remains the worker's account when employment changes. Give the existing RSA details to the new employer so future contributions continue to the correct account.

Can I move my pension from one PFA to another?

Yes. PenCom says an RSA holder can transfer from one Pension Fund Administrator to another once in a year without giving a reason, using the regulated RSA transfer process.

What should I do if pension is deducted from my salary but not credited to my RSA?

Check the PFA statement first and identify the missing months. Then reconcile with the employer/PFA and, if the employer has not remitted the contribution, complain to PenCom with the RSA PIN, PFA, employer identity and affected periods.

Do I need to open a new RSA when I move to another employer?

No. An RSA is portable between jobs. Keep the same RSA unless you are using the regulated PFA-transfer process; creating another account is not the normal way to handle a job change.
